PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain power saving by suppressing useless stand-by current flowing during stand-by of an electric apparatus such as a television receiver having a remote control or a subswitch, a video apparatus and a stereophonic apparatus, or an electrical apparatus such as a telephone set performing reception stand-by, a facsimile device, and a computer, or power sources of the apparatus, or an AC adapter, and using a minimum power necessary for stand-by function. SOLUTION: Electric power necessary for the stand-by circuit of an electrical apparatus having a remote control or a subswitch is supplied by making a current flow intermittently in the primary side of a power source circuit, and the minimum power necessary for stand-by is supplied. Opening and closing for power or oscillation operation is intermittently performed to make a current flow. A power source for this intermittent current flow is arranged on the primary side, thereby enabling start-up and automatic-reset after service interruption. |
