PURPOSE:To reduce the feeling degree of fatigue of a user in a document retrieving state and to improve the document retrieving efficiency by varying the page turn-over/display speed in response to the number of pages turned over and displayed with regard to a document filing device which retrieves the desired one of plural sheets of recorded document data by the page turn-over operations. CONSTITUTION:A reading part 102 reads out the document data recorded at a recording part 101, and a display part 103 shows the document data read out by the part 102. A counting part 105 counts the sheets of document data displayed at the part 103. A display speed control part 106 refers to the count value of the part 105, and the part 103 controls the display speed of the document data. Then a document data specifying part 104 specifies the desired one of those document data shown at the part 103. |
