<p>The load (10) is supplied with current via two connector pins (13, 14) protruding from its housing (11). The recess accommodates a bimetallic snap disc or spring disc (26) for breaking the connection as soon as the temp. of the load exceeds an upper limit. One pin (14) is connected directly to the load, and the other pin (13) via the thermal switch and a third pin (15) which does not protrude from the housing. Heat is conducted from the load to the disc by a bridge (23).</p> |
