The pressure control system for the fuel feed to an internal combustion motor has a housing (10) with a fuel inlet (30) and outlet (24), with a valve seat (32) between the inlet (28) and outlet (26) sides of the fuel zone. A membrane valve body (46) opens and closes the fuel flow link between the inlet (30) and outlet (24), with a spring (50) which holds the valve (47) in the closed position. The spring (50) is inserted axially through a mounting opening (16) in the housing (10), with a shifting movement on the pressure adjustment system in one direction against the membrane (38) to increase the closing force of the valve (47), and in another direction to reduce the closing force. The housing body (10) can be in one piece with the fuel injection bar.
