<p>A supply cable connects a battery to an engagement relay of the starter motor. A connecting cable (40) joins the power terminal of the relay to the electric motor. A fuse is provided in the current feed circuit. The fuse comprises a portion (44) of a lead wire (42), with a reduced cross-section, the lead wire being part of the cable. A non-flammable insulating sheath is provided round the fuse portion. A motor vehicle starter motor is also claimed.</p> |
