PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calcium magnesium carboxylate composition having a reduced dust scattering. SOLUTION: A calcium magnesium carboxylate composition comprises a calcium magnesium carboxylate component and an organic binder. Here, the organic binder is a hydrophilic or water-soluble polymer, e.g. a polyoxyalkylene glycol (especially polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight of from 150 to 2,000) or a homo- or copolymer of a vinyl ether. The weight ratio of the calcium magnesium carboxylate component to the organic binder is about from 99.9/0.1 to 80/20. The dust scattering of the calcium magnesium carboxylate composition is about 500 ppm by weight or smaller.
