PURPOSE:To make production easy and to improve slip property in a hot time by crosslinking siloxane-based resin and others in the presence of an acid catalyst and providing a sticking preventive layer constituted of the crosslinked substance and silicone oil on the surface of the opposite side of a thermal transfer layer provided on base material. CONSTITUTION:A heat transfer recording medium is produced by providing a heat transfer layer on one side of base material. In the case, at least two kinds of resins selected from the group consisting of siloxane-based resin, melamine resin and benzoguanamine resin are crosslinked in the presence of an acid catalyst. A sticking preventive layer constituted of the crosslinked substance and silicone oil is provided on the surface of the opposite of a thermal transfer layer provided on base material. Silicone oil has an ester bond and an ether bond and the weight-average molecular weight is regulated to 2,000-100,000. Traveling motion of the thermal transfer recording medium is stabilized even in high-speed printing by such a way and high-quality printed matter is obtained. Further crosslinking is enabled at a low temperature in a short time. Deformation and change in quality of the film of base material are prevented. |
