PURPOSE:To call the same intrinsic position of a plate cylinder even at the time of using with other printer having different web path with the same cylinder by obtaining a vertical register correction amount by calculation, driving a register roll and controlling a position through a printer controller and calling a peripheral length of the cylinder, a mark position and a preset value. CONSTITUTION:When a vertical register correction amount K2mm for initially registering a plate cylinder 21 of a printing unit U2, 1/2 of the amount K2mm is transmitted from a preset position 42 to a printer controller 41 as a preset value K2/2mm of a register roll 25 position. Then, a preset value K2/2mm is output from the controller 41 to a driver of the roll 25 as a preset position of the roll 25, and vertical register initial preset position control of the roll 25 is executed. Even in the case of other multicolor gravure printer having different web path, the path is previously input to the preset position, a mark position of the same cylinder is called, and this calculation is repeatedly executed. |
