CATALYST FOR REMOVING BAD SMELL AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE: The title catalyst capable of removing a bad smell at a relatively low temperature, using semipermanently and high in treatment efficiency and generates no waste water and waste is provided, which is inexpensive and reduces the cost of maintenance and has prolonged life. CONSTITUTION: The catalyst is prepared by a process consisting of: adding 100 to 130g ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid ferric sodium salt based on 500ml ammonia aqueous solution with a 1.5 to 2.5 mole concentration and agitating at 30 to 40deg.C; adding 50 to 60 parts by weight of sodium nitrate, more than 10 parts by weight of ferric nitrate and ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid tetrasodium salt each based on 100 parts by weight of ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid ferric sodium salt, agitating until the additive is dissolved absolutely and adjusting the solution to pH 8 to 10 by adding an acetic acid aqueous solution and alkali solution.
