PURPOSE:To provide a KARAOKE (accompaniment to recorded music) device which automatically corrects an interval so that a user can easily sing a song without for him to set an interval changing value CONSTITUTION:Pitch of the singing signals recorded in KARAOKE media is detected by a first pitch detection means 104. Pitch of the user's singing signals inputted from a microphone 105 is detected by a second pitch detection means 107. These pitches are compared by a comparison means 108 and corresponding to the comparison results, output signals of the KARAOKE media are controlled with an interval conversion means controlling means 109 so that the signals are automatically interval converted, with an interval conversion means 110 and 111.
