摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet powder, whose mechanical strength is large and which can produce a magnet superior in magnetic characteristics, and to provide a bonded magnet. SOLUTION: This magnet powder 1 has an alloy composition, that is represented by the formula Rx(Fe1-yCoy)100-x-zBz (R: at least one kind of rare- earth element; x: 10-15 atom.%; y: 0-0.30; z: 4-10 atom.%) and has a plurality of projecting lines 2 on at least a part of its surface. If the average particle size of the magnet powder 1 is assumed to be a μm, the length of the projecting line 2 is preferably a/40 μm or larger. The projecting lines 2 are arranged juxtaposed, and their average pitch is preferably 0.5 to 100 μm.
