PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic output level control circuit comparatively simple in configuration and capable of avoiding the overshoot and undershoot of a signal waveform at the time of light load even though a large output buffer is apt to be used since the size of the load to be connected is not explicit on the design stage of an LSI or the like. SOLUTION: The automatic output level control circuit 10 is composed of plural level control circuits 20A-20N connected to each other in multistage. An input signal is inputted to the level control circuit 20A in the first stage and the output is successively inputted to the level control circuits 20B,..., 20N in following stages. Besides, a reference level is inputted to the respective level control circuits 20A-20N. The output of each of level control circuits 20A-20N is compared with the reference level by a comparator circuit part 34 in each of level control circuits 20A-20N, it is determined whether or not a level control part 31 such as resistor 40 or integration circuit 50 is to be inserted to a signal path, and the output level of an output terminal 14 is automatically controlled. |
