PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a hybrid vehicle capable of sufficiently ensuring the regenerative amount, and remarkably improving the fuel consumption without giving the bad influence to the proper control of the exhaust gas. SOLUTION: In the controller of the hybrid vehicle having an engine and a motor as driving sources of a vehicle, stopping the feeding of the fuel to the engine in decelerating the vehicle, and executing the regenerative braking by the motor according to the decelerating condition, the engine is a cylinder cut-off engine capable of switching the full-cylinder operation for operating all cylinders and a full cylinder stop operation for stopping all cylinders, and the controller has a stop of cylinder discriminating means for discriminating the full-cylinder operation and the full-cylinder stop in accordance with the operating condition of the vehicle, and a regenerative amount correcting means for applying the increase of the decelerating energy obtained by the cylinder stop operation to the full-cylinder operation, as the correction of the regenerative amount of the motor when the full-cylinder stop is discriminated by the stop of cylinder discriminating means, and the full-cylinder stop operation is executed in the engine (for example, step S311 in embodiment). |
