<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize real time communication by means of a distributed control type communication system which was unfeasible, by combined use of the following three methods: (1) allowing a packet with a high priority level to overtake a packet with a low priority level, (2) re-assigning a new priority level to the packet at every communication node, (3) controlling communication routing in accordance with the priority level; and in doing so, to also realize a communication system having much more nodes compared to a central control type communication system, a robust communication system immune to failure in a part of the communication paths, a communication system which does not require packet retransmission, and real time communication with small quantum time. SOLUTION: When executing real time communication between a plurality of information processors, a method for distributed control type real time communication executes overtake of a packet at every communication node (= information processor) in accordance with a priority level of the packet, and at the same time re-assigns a new priority level to the packet and determines appropriate routing according to the given priority level.</p> |
