<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for mediating cellular phones' connection to the Internet in which volumes of advertisements included in contents on the Internet sent to a cellular phone unit are measured, and additional communication fees incurred by the advertisements are automatically charged to the contents provider in place of a user. SOLUTION: Packets to be sent to a cellular phone unit extracted by a packet extracting portion 7 are stored and combined in a buffering portion 8 to reproduce an HTML file. An advertisement data volume measurement portion 9 measures a volume of advertisement data which is divided by tags, and the volume of advertisements, a cellular phone identification information and a provider's IP address are then recorded in a connection record table 12 with association to each other. Communication fees to be charged to a user and the provider are respectably calculated based on records in the connection record table 12.</p> |
