<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a luminance gradient of an organic EL display device due to resistance present on a common electrode wire. <P>SOLUTION: In the driving device of the organic EL display device, a voltage is outputted from a power circuit to a segment driver through a correcting circuit 25. The correcting circuit 25 has a current detection resistor 251 on a wire for supplying a current from the power circuit to the segment driver. A resistor 253 and a resistor 255, and a resistor 254 and a resistor 256 are connected to both ends of the current detection resistor 251 respectively, and the resistors 255 and 256 are grounded. A comparator 252 inputs a voltage (corresponding to the value of a current flowing through the current detection resistance 251) corresponding to a voltage applied to the current detection resistor 251 and outputs an output voltage corresponding to the input voltage.
