<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the freedom in formation of secondary data using data on a screen by enabling, as a mediating role of the data displayed on the screen and data of a plurality of windows, integrated management of selection, copying and pasting processing of data on the screen or data within different windows irrespective of individual windows or applications. <P>SOLUTION: An optional area on the screen can be selected through a transparent layer 201 irrespective of windows displayed on the screen in conformation to an application executed on the information processor.
