NETWORK SEARCHING METHOD AND MOBILE NODE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile node for searching a network by activating only a communication interface corresponding to neighbor information after receiving the neighbor information regarding neighboring access network points from a predetermined server in heterogeneous network environment. SOLUTION: The mobile node includes interface sections 110-1 to 110-n which operate in an active mode or in a sleep mode and relay communication with a predetermined type of network when they operate in the active mode, a communication section 120 which performs communication with a first access network point via one of the interface sections 110-1 to 110-n and a controller 130 which switches an operation mode of an interface section corresponding to each of the neighboring access network points among the interface sections 110-1 to 110-n into the active mode when the neighbor information is received from the server.
