PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate supply of a portable storage medium etc. when the portable storage medium is used as an information output medium in an information input/output apparatus. SOLUTION: The apparatus has a drive unit 85 for writing desired information into the portable storage medium; a medium stock section 86 for stocking a plurality of the portable storage media; and an accommodating member stock section 87 for stocking accommodating members for accommodating the media after storing. Each of the portable storage media is set removably on the information input/output apparatus by a storage medium magazine accommodating a plurality of portable storage media in a single holding means, and supplied. Thus, time and effort for supplying portable storage media, as consumables, before writing information one by one is omitted, and the storage media can be supplied and refilled per magazine unit and handling becomes easy.
