PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system which can detect the movement, the profile, etc. of an object using a general-purpose camera from a remote place. SOLUTION: The image processing system includes a detection means having (a) a photographing means for photographing the object for monitoring and outputting the photographed image, (b) a comparing condition storage means which memorizes a first comparing condition as opposed to the above object for monitoring is discovered and deriving property or a phenomenon, a second comparing condition, a third comparing condition,..., and the n-th comparing condition (n: a positive integer), (cj) an image attribute information extraction means having a j-th image attribute information extraction means which extracts the j-th image attribute information including (k-1)-th image attribute information from the above photographed image (j=1-n), and (dk) a k-th detection means for detecting whether the above k-th image attribute information which the above k-th image attribute information extraction means extracted satisfies the k-th comparing condition (k=1-n).
