摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output power control technology which can reduce the temperature dependency of output power in a high frequency power amplifier circuit for controlling the output power by controlling an operation power supply voltage (power supply voltage) depending on an output request level while sustaining a bias voltage applied to a control terminal of an amplifying element at a constant level. SOLUTION: In a high frequency power amplifier circuit (210) for controlling the output power by controlling the operation power supply voltage supplied to an amplifying element depending on an output request level while sustaining a bias voltage applied to the control terminal (gate terminal or base terminal) of amplifying elements (211-213) at a constant level so that the amplifying elements operate in a saturation region, an operation power supply voltage control circuit (220) for controlling the operation power supply voltage of the amplifying element depending on the output request level is provided with an element (diode D1) having temperature dependency, and an operation power supply voltage control circuit is arranged to generate an operation power supply voltage depending on temperature characteristics of the element and supply the voltage to the amplifying element.
