PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel information writing system in which channel information can be easily written in a plurality of receivers very cheaply. SOLUTION: The channel information writing system comprises a receiver 101 having a first storage device 2 which can write in channel information, and a writing tool having a second storage device 9 which can write in channel information. The receiver 101 comprises a means for reading out the channel information from the second storage device 9 by controlling it directly, and a means for writing the channel information thus read out into the first storage device 2.
