PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal device capable of preventing image data from being transmitted to a wrong destination without requiring an opposite party terminal to introduce a new system. SOLUTION: A transmission source terminal 31 as a communication terminal device is provided with a first generating means 45 for generating identification information of a transmission job of image data by operating a key used for instructing transmission of the image data to the opposite party terminal 33; a second generating means 47 for generating confirmation information before transmission including the image data, the identification and opposite party information; a first transmission control means 49 for transmitting the confirmation information before transmission to an authorization destination terminal 35; a confirming means 51 for confirming that the received identification information matches the identification information generated in the first generating means 45 upon receiving the identification information transmitted from the authorization destination terminal 35 after the confirmation information before transmission has been transmitted; and a second transmission control means 53 for permitting transmission of the image data to the opposite party terminal 33 when confirmation is made.
