PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller whereby an operator can recognize a display position in the list of each selection item at a glance even when many selectable items are provided and select a desired item with a simple operation in a short period of time. SOLUTION: The remote controller disclosed herein is configured such that a liquid crystal display panel can display a plurality of function information items corresponding to a plurality of functions of an apparatus to be remotely controlled by dividing the plurality of function information items into a plurality of pages. Further, the remote controller is configured such that the arrangement relation among the function information items on each page displayed on the liquid crystal display panel through the operation of an operation section is not changed by operations for selecting the function information items by the operation section. Moreover, the selected state of function information selected through the operation of the operation section on a page displayed on the liquid crystal display panel is explicitly displayed by using a lateral bar part 102 and a white round part 103.
