The device (8) comprises a venting valve (9) with a threaded part (10, 11) having a relatively small diameter which is used to locate a compression spring (12). This spring can be positioned between a flange (13) and an O-ring (14), the latter in turn can be brought into contact with a seal (15) for the venting channel (5) in the brake cylinder (1). The brake cylinder comprises a case (2) with connections for a hydraulic fluid feed and a brake actuator. The case contains a venting channel with a relatively small diameter which is connected to a threaded valve channel (6, 7) having a larger diameter.
