PURPOSE:To enable automation of cutting of an electrode pattern and prevent mis-cutting, by providing a small-width part capable of being cut by passing an electric current, at a part to be cut of the electrode pattern. CONSTITUTION:At the time of measuring the resistance of a heat generating resistor 2, a connecting end part 3b of a cable 3 is inserted into a connector 8' of a measuring instrument, whereby a wiring pattern 7 and an electrode pattern 9 are connected to a predetermined measuring circuit of the instrument and a pulse-applying circuit for cutting. In this condition, the resistance of the resistor 2 is measured, and it is checked which one of three electrode parts 9a, 9b, 9c of the electrode pattern 3 will correspond to the measurement rank. When the electrode part 9a, for example, corresponds to the measurement rank, a pulse is applied between the electrode part 9a and a common terminal 9d from the connector 8'. As a result, the electrode part 9a is cut at a small-width part 9e, whereby the electrode pattern 9 conforming to the rank of the resistance of the resistor 2 is provided. |
