PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform prescribed processing accompanied by stoppage of a monitoring function to a plurality of monitoring units while suppressing omission in monitoring. SOLUTION: The management unit which manages a plurality of monitoring units performing redundant monitoring to one or a plurality of devices is provided with a management processing part, an acquisition part, and a determination part. The management processing part executes management processing which performs prescribed processing for a plurality of monitoring units and accompanied by stoppage of monitoring function of the monitoring units, to at least one of the monitoring units by dividing the processing into a plurality of periods that are the objects of the prescribed processing. The acquisition part acquires preceding to management processing combination of monitored devices and monitoring units monitoring each device and each monitoring unit. The determination part determines, preceding to management processing, the number of a plurality of periods and the monitoring units that become objects in each period, considering acquired combinations.
