摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display element wherein high speed response is made possible at low voltage in the liquid crystal display element using a polymer/liquid crystal composite. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal, 3,5,5-trimethylhexyl acrylate and 1-6 hexanediol diacrylate are mixed and the liquid crystal display element 6 of a PLCC (Polymer/Liquid Crystal Composite) mode is obtained by reacting 3,5,5-trimethylhexyl acrylate with 1-6 hexanediol diacrylate. Thereby, the liquid crystal display element 6 can be made to be applied to a display system for which high speed response is required, such as a field sequential system, at low driving voltage when a weight ratio of 3,5,5-trimethylhexyl acrylate to 1-6 hexanediol diacrylate is appropriately selected.
