An image processing system and method using a feedback route for a final output are provided. The image processing system includes a capture unit outputting a first main frame signal and a first sub-frame signal. A main route unit processes the first main frame signal and outputs a main picture to a display device. A sub-route unit processes the first sub-frame signal and outputs a sub-picture to the display device. A frame buffer stores frame signals. The capture unit is connected to an output terminal of the main route unit via the feedback route. A main route for generating the main picture is separated from a sub-route for generating the sub-picture and a final output signal is fed back to the capture unit. A high-definition sub-picture is obtained. The picture quality of the final output signal and a capture can be verified without using additional elements.
