摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new mercury content measuring element, a mercury content measuring device, and a mercury content measuring method. SOLUTION: The mercury content measuring element is constituted of a quartz oscillator and electrodes installed on both sides across it, and has characteristics wherein the electrode surface is coated with a metal forming an alloy (amalgam) with mercury, or each electrode is constituted of the metal forming the alloy (amalgam) with mercury, and the coated electrode surface or the electrode surface is mirror-finished. In the mercury content measuring device, the mercury content measuring element is connected to a frequency measuring device for measuring a frequency of the mercury content measuring element by adsorption of mercury onto the electrode surface.
