PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater dropping type sensor system free from a risk of marine environmental pollution even when a sensor or the like is dumped in marine after used. SOLUTION: A computer part 1 is connected to the sensor 5 dropped in water and under falling, by a water-proof/salt-proof communication cable 3 and an underwater communication cable 6, information such as a water depth and water pressure measured by the sensor 5 is measured, the water-proof/salt-proof communication cable 3 is separated from the underwater communication cable 6 after the measurement is finished, and the underwater communication cable 6, sensor 5 and the like are dumped in the marine. The dumped underwater communication cable 6, sensor 5 and the like comprise a bio-degradable material bio-degraded in the water to be perished, and metal not being toxic even when eluted into the water to prevent the marine environmental pollution.
