A local broadcasting system is provided to make independent and self-regulated broadcast within each classroom and office possible. A local broadcasting system comprises the followings: a PLC modem(170) which receives a control signal which is transmitted through a power line from a main control unit; a local controller(200) which can be controlled by the control signal and individually controls broadcasting devices of each classroom or office in response to the selection of each user; a display device(210) which is controlled by the local controller, reproduces video signals transmitted from an image distributor, and the outputs audio signals accompanied by the video signal; and a switch(220) which is switching-controlled by the local controller, and selects one of the audio signal transmitted from an audio distributor and the audio signal outputted from the display device to output the selected signal to a speaker(230). |
