PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably fly even an ink or the like having high viscosity by moving the ink by a relatively low voltage. SOLUTION: When a liquid droplet of the liquid 12 in a liquid storage part 4 is made to fly to a medium 17 conveyed to between a liquid droplet ejecting means 2 and a counter electrode 3 in the liquid droplet flight device 1, a high voltage is impressed to an electrode for flight 7 from a bias power source 13, thereby generating an electric field 18 between the electrode for flight 7 and the counter electrode 3. In this state, on-and-off control of a flight control means 15 is carried out, and a drive voltage of a low voltage is impressed to a EW drive electrode 9 from a drive power source 14. The liquid 12 in a slit 6 moves to a tip of the electrode for flight 7 by an electro-wetting phenomenon. The liquid 12 having moved to the tip of the electrode for flight 7 flies along the electric field towards the counter electrode 3, hitting the liquid droplet 12a onto the medium 17.
