FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed invention pertains to organic chemistry, more specifically to the method of producing N,N-dimethyl-3-phenyl-2-propyne-1-amine. The method involves reacting phenylacetylene with excess bisamine in the presence of a vanadyl acetylacetonate catalyst (VO(acac)2) in an argon atmosphere at 85°C temperature and atmospheric pressure for a period of 4-8 hours. N,N-dimethyl-3-phenyl-2-propyne-1-amine output is 84-98%. ^ EFFECT: invention can be used in thin organic synthesis, particularly for making not easily accessible polycyclic compounds, as well as in synthesis of biologically active substances. ^ 1 tbl, 1 ex |
