PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warm air heater preventing excessive secondary air supply to a heat chamber even if changed from a weak operation to a strong operation, and preventing an increase in CO in combustion gas caused by the lowering of combustion temperature. SOLUTION: Secondary air introducing ports 31 are formed in the lower part of the back surface of the heat chamber 11, and an introducing port shielding plate 32 covering the secondary air introducing ports 31 is erected on a heat chamber base plate 13 and in a position at the side of a back surface rather than the secondary air introducing ports 31. Since the bottom of the back surface of the heat chamber 11 is not directly exposed to blowing air from a convection fan 5, the heat chamber 11 is not excessively cooled to thereby prevent the lowering of an environmental temperature around a burner head 10. Further, since blowing air from the convection fan 5 is not made directly flow into the secondary air introducing ports 31, the flow speed of the secondary air supplied into the heat chamber 11 is suppressed and the secondary air does not fan the flame of the burner head 10 to thereby prevent the increase in CO in combustion gas caused by the lowering of a flame combustion temperature.
