PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire enhancing operation stability without raising a level of gas column pipe resonance sound. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire, a main groove extending in a tire circumferential direction is formed on a tread. Thin grooves 11 constituted by an upper thin groove 11a extending from a branched point 21 in a main groove depth direction and positioned on a tread surface side and a plurality of lower thin grooves 11b extending from the branched point 21 in a main groove depth direction and positioned on a groove bottom side are formed on a side wall of the main groove with an interval along a tire circumferential direction R.
