<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce video data and audio data by a content reproducing device even when the video data and the audio data are respectively recorded in a content recording medium for reproducing devices different from each other. <P>SOLUTION: In the content recording device, when a content is recorded on a content recording medium, a re-encoding condition list is recorded in the content recording medium.
