PURPOSE:To easily set opening/closing operation according to liking of an user, and stop opening/closing operation at an optional position from a closing position to an opening limit position, when a movable body such as a liquid crystal display part in a portable small size personal computer and a word processor is opened/closed, and also simplify a structure, miniaturize the movable body, and apply durability. CONSTITUTION:A device is provided with a movable rotary shaft fixed on a movable body or an apparatus main body, a plastic braking member 5 whose inner circumferential surface tightly fit to the rotary shaft is a circular cross section and outer circumferential surface is not a circular cross section, a maintaining metal fitting 6 having both extending parts and a bending part which is fit to the apparatus main body or the movable body and being tightly in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the braking member 5, and a screw member 7 for fastening the maintaining metal fitting 6 inward, and a vertical clearance 12 is provided on the braking member 5, which exceeds from one end surface to the other end surface in axial direction. |
