PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a novel exhaust gas catalytic converter.SOLUTION: An exhaust gas catalytic converter 10 has an interface module 11 comprising an inflow port 14 for exhaust gas to be purified and an outflow port 15 for purified exhaust gas, a direction change module 12 changing a direction of exhaust gas to be purified, and exhaust gas purification modules 13 containing a catalyst bodies 27 through which exhaust gas flows for exhaust gas purification. The interface module 11 comprises a radially outer flow channel 16 connected to the inflow port 14 and a radially inner flow channel 17 connected to the outflow port 15. The exhaust gas purification module 13 comprises a radially outer flow channel 20 communicating with the flow channel 16 and a radially inner flow channel 21 communicating with the flow channel 17. The catalyst bodies 27 are provided in the radially inner flow channel 21 of the exhaust gas purification module 13. The direction changing module 12 changes the direction of a flow from the flow channel 20 of the adjacent exhaust gas purification module 13 to the flow channel 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
