The present invention is a system and a method based on an interactive technology for improving rehabilitation and physical therapy of patients with motor disabilities. The system/method consists of an interactive device based on Bluetooth and USB communication technologies and a friendly and easy to use interface both for the patient and the therapist, which provides therapy stimulation and controlled by the actual movements of the head, neck and wrist and also by the force exerted by the hand of the patient under the supervision of a therapist. The movements of the patient are detected by a camera of a portable computer and translated into coordinates, which are sent by a sending card by Bluetooth communication, wherein a receiver interprets said information and transmits it to the device to carry out the movements of forward motion, rearwards motion, rotation to the right and left motions up to a distance of 20 m., in addition can be controlled by any mobile device with Android ope rating system and Bluetooth. |
