The present invention relates to an LCD system for a vehicle and a control method thereof. The LCD system for a vehicle comprises: an LCD which is formed in a vehicle; a temperature sensor which measures the surrounding temperature of the LCD; and a control part which is woken up according to a preset setting cycle to measure the temperature through the temperature sensor after the ignition of the vehicle is turned off and then the vehicle is in a slip mode, drives the LCD during the setting time if the measured temperature is lower than or equal to a reference temperature, and then allows the vehicle to be in the slip mode. Thus, the present invention improves responsibility and visibility in the low-temperature environment of the LCD. |
