PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a configuration capable of satisfying both of the reduction in dimension in the cross-sectional direction of a developing device and the reduction in size in the longitudinal direction of the developing device, in the developing device including a removal drive transmission part 440 for removing a sealing sheet.SOLUTION: A screw gear train 450 for transmitting drive to a second conveyance screw 227 and a removal drive transmission part 440 are arranged at one end of a developing container 222. A sleeve gear train for transmitting the drive to a developing sleeve 221 is arranged at the other end of the developing container 222. A part of the removal drive transmission part 440 is arranged in a space γ between one end of the developing sleeve 221 and one end of the second conveyance screw 227 and in a range where the developing sleeve 221 is projected in an axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14 |
