The filter has a central drum (2), at least one disk shaped segmented filter member (10) extending radially outwards transverse to said drum and filter cloth portion (21) supported on unit (40). System is made up of segments (20), with frame (22) and attached cloths (21), detachably secured to support unit (40) by holding means (30) with holding frame (31) and holding devices (51,52). The filter has a central drum (2) rotating about central axis with at least one disk shaped segmented filter member (10) extending radially outwards transverse to said drum. At least one filter cloth portion (21) is supported on support unit (40) for liquid filtration from inside drum. System is made up of segments (20) with filter frame (22) and attached filter cloths (21). Each segment (20) is detachably secured to support unit (40) by holding means (30) with holding frame (31) and holding devices (51,52). Preferred Features: The filter cloth (21) is fixed to a filter frame (22) in support unit (40) to pass the liquid flow with seal means onto said frame. The cloth is a microfilter cloth made from a polyester fiber fabric with apertures of 10 - 100 psim. Details of the holding devices (51,52) are also disclosed. |
