PURPOSE:To adjust printed matter to desired density over the whole thereof. CONSTITUTION:A correction factor memory part 2-1 is provided to a remote control unit 2 to preliminarily store correction factors K1-Km. The correction factors K1-Km are coefficients properly determined with respect to blocks B1-Bm formed by dividing an ink fountain key. The object values S1-Sn from a printing plate pattern area ratio measuring device 1 are multiplied by the correction factors K1-Km stored in the correction factor memory part 2-1 by the multiplication part 2-2 of the remote control unit 2 to obtain new object values S1'-Sn'. The new object values S1'-Sn' are applied to the ink fountain key control part 3-l of a printing press 3 and the opening quantities theta1-thetan of Ky1-Kyn are adjusted so as to be matched with S1'-Sn'. |
