PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable function expansion without updating firmware in an electronic apparatus that achieves a specific function by operating a built-in computer according to the firmware like as a communication control device.SOLUTION: A communication control device 10 is connected to two communication networks different from each other to achieve transfer control processing of data to be transmitted from one communication network to the other communication network by operating a computer according to firmware 144a. The communication control device 10 includes script execution means 144b for reading a script 144d for function expansion in which an instruction group for giving a resident type function as a new function to the communication control device 10 is written by using a predetermined script language, executing instructions written in the script in a written order, and expanding a function belonging to the communication control device 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
