PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasification furnace capable of preventing or suppressing temporary black smoke generation in gasification furnace starting.SOLUTION: A gasification furnace 10 of feeding a gasification agent and a solid carbonaceous fuel and performing gasification comprises: a combustible gas feed system 11 of introducing a generated combustible gas into a char recovery device 30; a bypass main flow passage 91 branched from the combustible gas feed system 11 to flare equipment 90 on the upstream side of the char recovery device 30; a dust collector 93 provided at the bypass main flow passage 91; and flow passage inlet opening/closing valves 12, 92 provided at the downstream of the branched position of the bypass main flow passage 91. |
