PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control and adjust transmission forces of both a rotation force and a direct-acting force, in a magnetic viscosity fluid device.SOLUTION: A magnetic viscosity fluid device comprises: cylinders 2; a piston 3; a rotatable rod 4 which is connected to the piston from one of the cylinders 2; a non-rotatable rod 6 which is connected to the piston from the other cylinder; and a coil 22. The piston has outer parts 31 at one of which a recess 31a is formed, and to the other of which the rotatable rod is connected, an inner part 32 which is rotatably fit into the recess, and connected with the non-rotatable rod at a face opposite to the fit-in side, and an annular plate part 33 which hangs out from a recess molding face, and is relatively rotatably inserted into the inner part. There is arranged a communication passage 29 which makes a first fluid chamber 27 and a second fluid chamber 28 communicate with each other, and passes through a gap 37 between a slit forming face of the inner part and a plate face of the annular plate part. A coil is arranged so that a magnetic path penetrating the gap 37 is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
