摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scintillator material high in transmittance of scintillate light, having an emission wavelength capable of photoelectric conversion with an Si photodiode, having a short decay time, capable of producing by heat treatment at 1,800°C or less, and suppressed in a production cost.SOLUTION: The scintillator material comprises a light-transmissive ceramic containing a complex oxide represented by following formula (1): (TbRCe)BO(1) as a principal constituent, or a single crystal of the complex oxide represented by the formula (1), where 0<x<1, 0.00001≤y≤0.15, x+y≤1, 1.76≤p<2.00, 0.80≤p/q<1.0, r is a positive number for keeping electric neutrality, R is at least one rare earth element selected from the group consisting of Y, Gd, Lu, La, Ho, Tm, Dy, Eu, and Pr, and B is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ti, Sn, Hf, Si, Ge, and Zr (excluding the case that, for each of Si and Ge, the element is alone).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
