PURPOSE:To provide a character broadcasting device that a specified person can view by paying. CONSTITUTION:This system is composed of a tuner 2 receiving the pay program of a character broadcasting where a background color and a foreground color are transmitted as the same color signal and demodulating into a composite video signal, a decoder 3 extracting the composite video signal as the data of the character broadcasting signal superposed during a vertical fly-back period and a control part 4 inputting the data of this character broadcasting signal. The matched character data of the background color and the foreground color is discriminated from the data of the character broadcasting signals by a comparison part 6, the fore-ground color of the matched character data is converted into a prescribed color by a conversion part 7, the data is stored in a memory 5, this stored data is read, the data is converted into characters by a character generator 8 and the characters are outputted as video signals via an NTSC encoder 9. |
