A tyre repair patch comprises reinforcing layers of rubber-embedded parallel cords 26 with their ends 25 turned back on themselves transversely to the general plane of the patch to prevent the cords from being pulled, during use, from their original positions, particularly when the patch covers the inside of a puncture filled by a rubber plug. In one embodiment the cord ends project from the embedding rubber and are turned back about a separate anchoring element e.g. of reinforced rubber. |
